Amazon’s Fire TV Stick continues to dominate the streaming market despite the emergence of new competitors. These popular devices provide an affordable and feature-rich way to upgrade older TVs, offering access to various apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Apple TV+. However, for those seeking a premium Amazon experience, a new upgrade has been introduced.
Amazon has unveiled a significant enhancement to its Fire OS-powered Omni Mini-LED Series televisions. These high-end screens already boast 4K visuals, Dolby Vision technology, superior sound quality, hands-free Alexa access, and a gaming mode. The latest upgrade further elevates their capabilities.
The latest feature introduced by Amazon is Interactive Art, an enhancement to the existing Ambient Experience feature. Interactive Art allows Omni Mini-LED owners to select from over 10 interactive scenes that change based on user movements, bringing the display to life.
Utilizing a high-fidelity radar sensor integrated into the televisions, Interactive Art responds to movements in front of the screen, offering scenes like fluttering butterflies, swimming koi fish, and colorful tiles. Existing Omni Mini-LED Series TV owners can easily access this upgrade.
To activate the Interactive Art background, users can simply ask Alexa to navigate to the Ambient Experience and select the Interactive Art tile. Amazon highlights that Interactive Art joins a vast collection of over 2,000 free, high-quality images available within the Ambient Experience.
In addition to Interactive Art, Amazon has introduced Dual Audio, a feature designed to enhance inclusivity and accessibility for users with hearing impairments. This function enables customers using hearing aids to stream audio simultaneously with others, delivering high-quality sound directly to their hearing aids while other viewers listen through the TV’s speakers.
Customers can pair compatible hearing aids by accessing the Accessibility menu in the Settings from the home screen. Dual Audio is now accessible in all regions where the Fire TV Omni Mini-LED Series is available with the latest software update.
