Rita Ora, the well-known singer-songwriter, recently shared insights into her friendship with a prominent artist, playfully mentioning that the artist is now too occupied to respond to her messages. During a discussion about a party she hosted, Rita brought up Sabrina Carpenter.
In a podcast called “In Your Dreams With Owen Thiele,” Rita, aged 34, disclosed that she once invited Sabrina, aged 26, to a New Year’s Eve gathering she organized in New York. This event took place before Sabrina’s hit song “Espresso” reached the top of the charts in April the previous year, indicating that the party occurred at the end of 2023.
Sabrina’s appearance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2024, which Rita co-hosted with Ryan Seacrest for the past two years, included a performance of her songs “Feather” and “Nonsense” followed by an on-air chat with Rita.
Recounting the party on the podcast, Rita mentioned that it was held at a residence with a basketball court. She humorously remarked that Sabrina no longer responds to her texts, quickly adding that she was joking.
