“Sky Introduces Glass Air TV: Dish-Free, 4K, & Voice Control”

Sky has launched its new Glass Air television, marking a shift in the premium TV landscape. The long-awaited internet-connected screen, initially announced in February, is now available for purchase on the Sky website.

Starting at just £6 per month with a £20 upfront fee, the Sky Glass Air offers a 4K display, Dolby Audio, and comprehensive voice control through its sleek remote. Customers can choose from three colors, including White and Green, and opt for larger screen sizes at additional costs.

One of the standout features of the Sky Glass Air is its dish-free operation, streaming content directly to the screen via the internet. The television also boasts personalized recommendations, access to popular streaming apps like Netflix, and a convenient Playlists feature for saving content for later viewing.

While the base price covers the TV itself, additional content packages start from £15 per month, bringing the total cost to around £21 for over one hundred channels and access to Netflix. For those interested in premium channels such as Sports and Cinema, prices can exceed £50 for a full content pack alongside the Glass Air TV.

Although Mirror Online has reviewed the premium Gen 2 Glass TV favorably, a comprehensive evaluation of the Glass Air is still pending. Stay tuned for a detailed review in the near future.
