The 35-year-old singer-songwriter is gearing up to launch her twelfth studio album titled “Life of a Showgirl.” She has revealed plans for an 89-minute theatrical experience for fans in various countries, including the US and the UK, from October 3 to October 5, coinciding with the album release.
The exclusive screenings will showcase the world premiere of the music video for “The Fate of Ophelia,” along with behind-the-scenes footage from the video shoot. Fans can also expect fresh lyric videos and Taylor’s personal insights on the new album’s songs.
Taylor made the announcement on Instagram, inviting fans to “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl” at cinemas from October 3 to October 5. Tickets are now available for purchase, promising a unique experience with music video premieres, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and lyric videos.
The special event, “Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl,” will be screened at all 540 AMC locations in the US and in over 100 other countries, including Canada, Mexico, the UK, Ireland, and various European nations. AMC Theatres Distribution confirmed that tickets for the showtimes in these countries will go on sale on Tuesday.
International territories can look forward to experiencing the event at a later date in October. This collaboration marks the second time Taylor has teamed up with AMC Theatres Distribution, following the success of “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” which grossed over $261 million globally, becoming the highest-grossing concert film ever.
