State banquets are a significant part of state visits, featuring speeches, royal toasts, and extravagant food and drinks. The menu for the evening included dishes like Hampshire Watercress Panna Cotta and Organic Norfolk chicken ballotine. The guests enjoyed a selection of fine wines and after-dinner drinks, including a 1945 vintage port and a 1912 cognac in honor of Trump’s mother’s birth year. Additionally, a special cocktail called the Transatlantic Whisky Sour was served, blending Johnnie Walker with marmalade and pecan foam on a toasted marshmallow biscuit.
