This particular vulnerability, which allows attackers to take control of the system without elevated privileges, has been exploited since March. Despite being a targeted attack, all Android users are advised to update their operating systems to safeguard against potential threats. Google typically initiates updates for Pixel devices before extending them to other manufacturers such as Samsung, OnePlus, and Honor. Regardless of the phone model, it is recommended for users to check for and install updates regularly to enhance device security.
