“Protesters Prepare for Trump’s ‘Humiliating’ UK Visit”

-

A protester criticized Donald Trump’s state visit to the UK, labeling it as “shameful” and “humiliating,” referring to the President as a ‘toddler.’

The Stop Trump Coalition is preparing to give Trump a cold reception upon his arrival in Windsor, where thousands of demonstrators are expected to gather in protest alongside Melania Trump.

During an interview on ITV’s Good Morning Britain, Zoe Gardner, a member of the coalition, criticized the visit as “shameful and humiliating” for the UK, expressing disapproval of UK leaders allowing Trump to treat the country as a “theme park.”

Zoe emphasized the contrast between maintaining a diplomatic relationship with the US and permitting Trump to use the UK as a playground, deeming the current situation as disgraceful and embarrassing for the UK.

She mentioned that protesters will gather in Windsor and march through London to voice their dissent against the visit, criticizing Sir Keir Starmer for inviting Trump for a second time, calling it a “catastrophic” error in judgment.

Following his welcome in Windsor, Trump will visit Sir Keir’s residence in Chequers, away from the anticipated protests, where he will witness a display by the British Army’s Red Devils.

Trump will also view special items related to Winston Churchill’s life, showcasing the close connection between the former British Prime Minister and the US. The leaders will enjoy a menu featuring British Dover Sole and American key lime pie for dessert.

Gavin Barwell, Theresa May’s former chief-of-staff, advised against exposing Trump to large protests during his visit, suggesting that events should be organized away from potential demonstrations.

Thousands are expected to protest in central London against Trump’s visit, citing concerns over climate change denial and alleged complicity in genocide. Barwell also accused Nigel Farage of provoking Trump before his visit to create challenges for the government.
