Tesco Mobile has expanded its complimentary roaming service, offering a benefit to customers traveling abroad. The mobile network now provides free roaming across 48 EU destinations, encompassing UK texts, calls, and data. Initially set to conclude in 2026, Tesco Mobile has decided to prolong its roaming service beyond the upcoming year.
As a result of Brexit, mobile operators are no longer restricted from imposing additional charges for utilizing UK allowances, comprising calls, texts, and data, while vacationing within the EU. Laura Joseph, Chief Customer Officer at Tesco Mobile, emphasized the significance of staying connected for families, whether sharing holiday memories, keeping in touch with loved ones, or navigating unfamiliar cities.
