PS Plus Extra and Premium members have limited time left to enjoy several games that will soon exit the service in December. The PlayStation subscription service is about to bid farewell to two prominent franchise entries in the coming weeks as the current lineup for November unfolds.
Among the latest additions like Still Wakes the Deep and Pacific Drive, the recent PS Plus game lineup has sparked mixed reactions. The return of Grand Theft Auto 5 has drawn criticism from some gamers who feel it’s being featured once again.
As one GTA title enters, another, GTA 3 Definitive Edition, is set to depart alongside other games in December. Battlefield 2042 is also on the list of titles leaving PS Plus next month as Battlefield 6 gains popularity with its Battle Royale mode, REDSEC.
The roster of departing games, including seven other titles and some PS Plus Premium VR games, will be removed on December 16, providing fans with approximately a month to catch up on any titles they may have missed.
Grand Theft Auto III’s Definitive Edition has undergone significant improvements following its troubled release in 2021. Rockstar Games issued a sincere apology for the issues encountered by players and the technical glitches in this remastered version.
Rockstar acknowledged the importance of the Grand Theft Auto series to fans worldwide and recognized that the updated versions of the trilogy did not meet their own quality standards or the expectations of their loyal fan base.
Similarly, Battlefield 2042 faced a lukewarm reception at launch but has since undergone extensive rebuilding efforts by DICE to enhance the gaming experience, especially with the imminent arrival of Battlefield 6.
Please note that the list of departing games is accurate at the time of writing and is subject to change with potential additions on short notice.
