The daughter of a British former property developer, Clifford Wildgoose, expresses deep concern after he went missing during his vacation in Costa del Sol. Wildgoose, 76, was last sighted at Patrick’s 19th Hole Bar in Puerto Banus near Marbella around 2 am on Saturday. He was supposed to catch a flight back to Manchester later that morning with a friend who had been holidaying with him in Spain.
Melanie Hall, Wildgoose’s daughter, disclosed that there was no trace of him at Malaga Airport, prompting the family to fear for his safety. Hall mentioned that a £7 transaction was recorded on his bank card at a nearby supermarket shortly after he was last seen. She noted concerns about his health condition, citing previous knee surgery and other health issues that affect his mobility.
Wildgoose, a father of five daughters, hails from Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside, and currently resides in Whitby, North Yorkshire. Hall emphasized his amiable nature and widespread acquaintances in Marsden, near Huddersfield. Despite efforts to locate him and working closely with authorities, including Yorkshire Police and Spanish law enforcement, Wildgoose’s whereabouts remain unknown.
Family members initially raised awareness about Wildgoose’s disappearance on social media platforms, seeking any relevant information from the public. Hall expressed distress over her father’s absence and highlighted that he was not feeling well before going missing. The family continues to appeal for assistance in locating Wildgoose and remains hopeful for his safe return.
