Amazon has released its schedule for broadcasting the UEFA Champions League matches for the remainder of the year, leading up to the initial round of games. Every Tuesday during a Champions League week, a single match will be shown exclusively on Prime Video, allowing Prime members to view the games at no additional cost.
The first game to be streamed by the platform during the League Phase will feature Europa League victors Tottenham Hotspur facing Villarreal on September 16. Following this, on September 30, Liverpool will have their opening match against Galatasaray in the competition.
Viewers who do not have a Prime Video subscription can watch the first two Champions League matches via a 30-day free trial offered by the platform. Subsequently, a subscription costs £8.99 per month until canceled. An alternative option is an annual subscription for £95, providing a saving of £12.88 compared to the monthly payment and access to Prime’s entire coverage of the 2025/26 Champions League.
Acquiring a Prime Video subscription will grant access to additional games such as Arsenal vs Atlético Madrid on October 21 and Trent Alexander-Arnold’s return to Anfield on November 4 as he faces his former club, Liverpool, since moving to Real Madrid in the summer.
Chelsea, the Club World Cup champions, are scheduled to play against Barcelona on November 25, followed by Reds managed by Arne Slot taking on last season’s finalists Inter Milan at the San Siro on December 9. Furthermore, Prime Video has confirmed that the match between Inter Milan and Arsenal will be exclusively broadcast on the platform on January 20.
Prime Video will showcase one UEFA Champions League fixture per gameweek for free to Amazon Prime members or new sign-ups to a 30-day free trial.
Leading the coverage of Prime’s Champions League matches will be Gabby Logan from Match of the Day, joined by former players turned pundits Wayne Rooney, Clarence Seedorf, and Daniel Sturridge, among others. Also returning are Jon Champion and Alan Shearer for live commentary, with Gabriel Clarke and Alex Aljoe reporting from inside the stadiums.
For European football matches not available on Prime Video, TNT Sports will broadcast the majority, including notable games like Bayern Munich vs Chelsea (September 17), Man City vs Napoli (September 18), and Newcastle United vs Barcelona (September 18). TNT Sports is also the UK broadcaster for the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League, commencing on September 24 and October 2, respectively.
To access European football games not shown on Prime Video, viewers can subscribe to TNT Sports via Discovery+ Premium for £30.99 per month or add it to a Sky Sports, Virgin Media, or EE TV package starting from £18. Special plans, including Sky’s £35 Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle, are also available.
