A 13-year-old girl was tragically discovered deceased at her residence after emergency responders were summoned to the scene. Nina Papierniok, a teenager, was found on Monday morning in Preston. First responders swiftly arrived at her home following reports of an unexpected death, where they sadly found the Year 8 student had passed away. Lancashire Police stated that the girl’s death is not considered suspicious, and the case will be handed over to the coroner.
In memory of the young schoolgirl, her friends and family initiated a fundraiser to provide support for her loved ones. The GoFundMe page created after Nina’s passing has already raised over £9,800, nearing its £10,000 goal.
A spokesperson from Lancashire Police reported that they responded to the incident at Manor House Lane in Preston at 7:04 am on September 15. Expressing condolences, the spokesperson mentioned that the girl’s death is not under suspicion and will be referred to HM Coroner in due time.
The headteacher of Archbishop Temple Church of England High School, Ivan Catlow, expressed deep sorrow over Nina’s passing, stating that the school community is profoundly affected by the loss.
