Apple’s range of services is gaining popularity in addition to its well-known products like MacBook, iPad, and iPhone. The tech giant has reported a successful year with a surge in users accessing its music, TV streaming, and news platforms.

Apple Music, now accessible on iOS and Android devices, experienced its most successful year in 2025, setting new records in terms of listenership and new subscribers. The platform introduced updates such as Lyrics Translation and AutoMix, offering users a personalized DJ experience.

In tandem with the music success, Apple TV saw a significant increase in engagement, with users spending 36% more time watching popular shows like Slow Horses and The Studio compared to the previous year. Apple TV expanded its content library with additions like the F1 film featuring Brad Pitt and the acclaimed drama Pluribus.

The App Store also thrived with over 850 million weekly users globally. The marketplace saw a surge in visitors between Christmas Eve and New Year’s Day, resulting in record-breaking spending on digital goods and services.

Apple Podcasts also saw a boost, achieving record listenership, plays, and subscribers throughout the year. Apple’s services further expanded with enhancements to Apple Fitness+ and Apple Arcade, offering more workout options and game titles to users.

Moreover, Apple introduced new features such as an expanded Share Item Location feature for Find My, benefiting airline travelers by enhancing luggage tracking capabilities. Apple Maps expanded its Detailed City Experience to cities like New Orleans, Singapore, and Monaco, providing users with 3D landmarks and unique experiences like the F1 Monaco Grand Prix.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services, remarked on the successful year, highlighting the company’s commitment to global expansion and innovation across its services portfolio. Reflecting on the achievements in 2025, Cue emphasized Apple’s dedication to enhancing user experiences and customer engagement, culminating in enthusiastic responses from customers worldwide.
