Upon reaching the UK, users can expect three primary enhancements. The first, AI Overviews, enables users to search their inbox using natural language queries, facilitating quick access to specific emails and key details.
Furthermore, AI Overviews can simplify email threads by providing concise summaries of essential points, reducing the time spent sifting through lengthy conversations. Another improvement focuses on writing assistance, offering smart replies and composition tools to aid users in crafting and refining emails seamlessly, including proofreading assistance.
For instance, when organizing a family event, suggested replies can generate responses matching the user’s style and tone for swift approval. Additionally, a Proofread tool is available for advanced grammar and style suggestions, exclusive to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers.
The update also incorporates AI-powered inbox filters to help users prioritize important messages and manage tasks effectively. Moreover, a new feature named “Catch me up” offers a snapshot of crucial life updates found in Gmail, such as reservations, deliveries, and event changes.
