Three Mobile surpassed its competitors in delivering high-speed data, making it an attractive option for users seeking fast streaming capabilities on the move.
Ookla’s findings revealed that Three Mobile secured the top position due to its impressive overall speeds. The network achieved an average download speed of 214Mbps, surpassing its closest competitor by over 80Mbps. This speed is twice as fast as the average fixed-line broadband speed in the UK, showcasing Three Mobile’s exceptional performance. Vodafone claimed the second spot, followed by EE in third place, while O2 ranked lowest in speed across all categories.
According to Ookla, “3 is the Fastest 5G Network in the United Kingdom, Q3–Q4 2025.” The Speedtest Award for Fastest Network is determined by the Speed Score, which assesses a network’s throughput and responsiveness by considering download and upload speeds along with latency metrics.
