Andrew Tate is gearing up for his debut in Misfits Boxing, where he will face off against the promotion’s current heavyweight champion, Chase DeMoor. Tate, aged 38, brings his combat sports background from a successful kickboxing career, although he was forced into early retirement due to eye injuries affecting his final fights.
The influencer has hinted at transitioning to boxing in recent months, with talks of potential matchups against Darren Till and Roy Jones Jr. However, it has been confirmed that he will be challenging DeMoor, the 29-year-old reigning heavyweight champion who recently defended his title against Natan Marcon.
While Till may be disappointed about missing out on a fight with Tate, the former UFC title contender is likely to be featured on the undercard with an opponent yet to be named. The event, titled Misfits Mania, will showcase Andrew Tate’s professional boxing debut against Chase DeMoor on December 20 at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai.
Although specific fight times are pending confirmation, the main card is anticipated to start around 6pm UK time. Tate is expected to make his ring entrance approximately at 9pm UK time. The broadcast details are yet to be disclosed, but it is unlikely to be on DAZN as in previous Misfits events, with a new broadcaster to be selected. Fans should expect a pay-per-view format for viewing the fight.
The event lineup will also feature Darren Till against an opponent to be announced later, with the full card set to be revealed closer to the event date. Andrew Tate expressed his anticipation for the match, asserting his position as the new figure in sports entertainment and hinting at a takeover from KSI in the past.
