Today, the results for the December 2025 Premium Bonds draw were revealed, making two individuals £1 million richer.
Every month, two lucky winners scoop £1 million each. In the latest draw, the first winner hails from Norwich, holding £35,000 in Premium Bonds. Their winning bond number, 591RD417238, was purchased in August 2024.
The second fortunate winner resides in Cornwall with £20,000 in Premium Bonds. Their winning bond number, 615WP633178, was acquired in February 2025.
Managed by National Savings & Investment (NS&I), Premium Bonds offer a unique savings approach where participants are entered into a monthly prize draw instead of earning a fixed interest rate on their savings.
Prizes range from a minimum of £25 to a grand prize of £1 million, with the majority of prizes being smaller amounts. Winning is not guaranteed, and some months may result in no returns on Premium Bonds.

To check if you’ve won, use the NS&I online prize checker tool or the Premium Bonds prize checker app, as the prize fund rate, currently at 3.60%, serves as an approximate interest rate for Premium Bonds.
Despite a slight decrease in the prize fund rate in recent months, leading to a decrease in some larger prizes and an increase in smaller prizes, two £1 million prizes are still up for grabs each month. The latest prize fund rate cut occurred in the August 2025 draw, reducing it to 3.60%. Nearly 23 million individuals hold Premium Bonds.
