CCTV footage of a woman who disappeared three weeks ago has been made public as authorities intensify their search efforts. Alexandra Harrod, aged 47, went missing from Seaton in Cumbria on August 30. Her last known sightings were in Workington and Whitehaven shortly after.
The police have shared video footage showing Alexandra at a Costa Coffee in Whitehaven on September 2 around 11:20 am. In the video, she is seen at the King Street location wearing a dark padded coat and tracksuit trousers.
Described as a white female with short dark hair, Alexandra was last seen in dark-colored tracksuit pants, a dark padded jacket, and carrying a dark rucksack. Authorities are urging any family members or friends who have not yet come forward to contact them. Those with information on Alexandra’s whereabouts are urged to reach out to the police at 101.
Known to go by the name ‘Alex,’ Alexandra has connections to various locations in the UK, including Leeds, Wiltshire, Durham, Dorset, and Devon. Meanwhile, authorities are actively searching for a woman missing after a house fire in a coastal village.
The woman was reportedly inside a property in Gardenstown, Aberdeenshire, when the fire broke out in the early hours of Thursday. Emergency services responded to the incident with four fire engines dispatched to Seatown in the village. One man was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for treatment.
A joint investigation by the police and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service is ongoing at the scene.
