“Legal Battle Unveils GTA 6 Multiplayer Details”

-

Just when the excitement surrounding Grand Theft Auto VI seemed to reach its peak, fresh multiplayer information has surfaced. Legal documents from Rockstar Games’ ongoing dispute with terminated employees in the UK suggest that GTA 6 may incorporate online lobbies accommodating up to 32 players.

The legal battle ensued after the studio dismissed over 30 developers, most of whom were part of Rockstar North’s Edinburgh headquarters, leading to allegations of anti-union behavior. The Independent Workers Union of Great Britain (IWGB), representing the laid-off workers, has taken the company to court.

Rockstar alleged that the former employees leaked undisclosed game features, notably the potential for 32-player lobbies. This figure aligns closely with GTA 5, which currently supports 30 players and two observers, but Rockstar might increase this capacity before the planned November 19 launch.

According to reports, the 32-player detail emerged during discussions between IWGB members regarding workloads and breaks. Rockstar contends that even mentioning this number constitutes sharing confidential information.

Further revelations from court filings include a disgruntled ex-staff member describing a quality assurance session involving 32 players as “challenging.” Despite these developments, anticipation for Grand Theft Auto VI remains incredibly high, with each leak and speculation fueling fan excitement.

From the promise of 32-player online lobbies to the expansive virtual world of Vice City, expectations are understandably elevated. However, given Rockstar’s track record of delays, gamers are preparing themselves for a potential extended wait.

One thing is certain: the global audience is increasingly eager for the game’s eventual debut. When it finally hits the market, GTA 6 is poised to become one of the most significant video game releases in history.
