Meghan Markle has discreetly introduced a new item to her As Ever collection, utilizing just one social media post to unveil the latest addition.
The Duchess of Sussex revealed on her lifestyle brand’s Instagram page the inclusion of a new wine to the lineup: a 2024 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc sourced from New Zealand. Meghan cryptically announced the new product through a coded post online, stating, “We heard you missed us. We’re back…and we brought a friend.” Following the subtle announcement on social media, Meghan headed to France for a swift appearance at Paris Fashion Week, keeping her new wine launch relatively low-key.
On Instagram, Meghan posted two photos showcasing a gift box containing her renowned apricot spread and orange marmalade, both existing staples in the As Ever collection, alongside an image of the new wine bottle chilling in an ice bucket.
The official As Ever website detailed more information about the white wine, marking it as the third wine varietal available for purchase from the Duchess of Sussex’s brand.
Described as “bright and balanced, with citrus aromatics, a smooth finish, and refreshing versatility,” the Sauvignon Blanc is crafted for everyday meals and special occasions alike, ideal for sharing, gifting, and enjoying throughout the year.
Priced at $30 (£22) per bottle, the new Sauvignon Blanc is available in sets of three ($90), half cases ($159), and full cases ($300), mirroring the pricing of the line’s 2024 Napa Valley Rosé and the previously sold-out 2023 Napa Valley Rosé.
Before the surprise release of the Sauvignon Blanc, Meghan had hinted to People magazine that her brand would expand to offer more wines, including a Méthode Champenoise Napa Valley sparkling wine in progress, with additional varietals in the pipeline.
The discreet launch of the new wine coincided with Meghan’s attention-grabbing appearance at Paris Fashion Week during a spontaneous visit to the French capital. This trip marked Meghan’s first visit to mainland Europe in three years, with Prince Harry notably absent.
In Paris, Meghan attended the Balenciaga show for their Spring/Summer 2026 women’s wear presentation, showcasing her attire entirely from the renowned luxury brand.
Questions arose regarding Meghan’s presence at the specific fashion show, revealing her friendship with the fashion designer Pierpaolo Piccioli, Balenciaga’s new creative director, with whom she has collaborated closely in the past.
A spokesperson for the duchess explained, “Meghan, Duchess of Sussex attended the Balenciaga show in Paris to support Pierpaolo Piccioli, who recently took on the role of creative director for the house.”
“This marks her return to the shows after more than a decade. Over the years, the duchess has worn several designs by Pierpaolo, reflecting their close collaboration on design for significant events on the global stage. She has always admired his craftsmanship and contemporary elegance, and this evening was no exception. This event signifies the culmination of many years of artistic partnership and friendship, showcasing her support for his new creative journey at Balenciaga.”
