Addressing the recent vulnerability, Adam Boynton, Senior Security Strategy Manager EMEIA at Jamf, emphasized the importance of the Google security bulletin in fixing a severe and longstanding flaw that Android users should take seriously. The vulnerability, known as CVE-2025-54957, affects Dolby’s DD+ Unified Decoder, allowing attackers to run malicious code without user interaction on Android OS.
