Samsung is set to unveil its latest portable projector, the Freestyle+, at the upcoming CES tech show in Las Vegas. This compact device is an enhanced version of the previous Freestyle projector, boasting advanced AI capabilities, improved brightness, and a wider range of entertainment options.
The standout feature of the Freestyle+ is its user-friendly setup process. Users simply need to power on the device, and it takes care of the rest. This convenience is made possible by Samsung’s AI OptiScreen technology, which automatically adjusts the projection to suit different environments without the need for manual adjustments.
AI OptiScreen also introduces several innovative features to enhance the viewing experience. These include 3D Auto Keystone for correcting image distortion on various surfaces, Real-time Focus to maintain picture sharpness while moving the projector, Screen Fit for automatic image sizing, and Wall Calibration for optimizing image quality based on the projection surface.
Designed for portability, the Freestyle+ retains the easy-to-carry nature of its predecessor and comes with a built-in speaker. It supports Wi-Fi connectivity and provides access to popular streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video.
Hun Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ Visual Display Business, emphasized the device’s adaptability to users’ lifestyles and spaces. The Freestyle+ is aimed at delivering a seamless viewing experience with its portability and intelligent AI features.
While pricing details are yet to be confirmed, the Freestyle+ is anticipated to hit stores early in 2026.
