The unfortunate event occurred at a house on Hartington Close in Thornaby, near Middlesbrough, prompting police intervention around 4:20 pm on Saturday. The child was taken to the hospital but, regrettably, did not survive. Authorities took a 25-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man into custody in connection with the incident.
