Two additional individuals have been charged in connection with the tragic passing of a couple in a residential fire. Eric Greener, aged 77, and Sheila Jackson, aged 83, lost their lives in a deliberate fire at their residence on South John Street in St Helens this past July.

Following the distressing arson incident, authorities disclosed that accelerants had been utilized to ignite the flames, with neighbors recounting how the fire had engulfed the front door, impeding the rescue operation by firefighters.

The elderly couple were rescued from the burning home and swiftly transported to a medical facility, yet succumbed to their injuries.
