Victoria Beckham, gearing up for her upcoming fashion show at Paris Fashion Week, has unveiled a new hair color for the autumn season. The renowned designer and former Spice Girl opted for a rich chocolate brown shade, enhancing the natural tones of her hair.
Her trusted hair colorist, Josh Wood, explained that he aimed to give her hair a more luxurious and rich appearance as the autumn season arrived. Utilizing glosses to tone the ends and amplify her natural highlights, he achieved the desired look.
Josh Wood revealed that recreating Victoria’s new hair color at home is feasible with affordable products costing less than £35. The recommended products are “The Miracle Glossing Water” (£15) and “The Chocolate Gloss” (£19), both from his own haircare brand. These products work together to boost the natural colors of the hair and provide a remarkable shine, ideal for replicating Victoria’s autumn hair transformation.
Applying “The Chocolate Gloss” is the initial step in the process. It acts as a color-boosting treatment mask that enhances the existing colors in the hair. Suitable for brunette or brown-dyed hair, it should not be used on blonde or highlighted hair, nor does it cover grey strands. The semi-permanent color it imparts lasts for up to six washes.
While the chocolate brown shade is recommended for mimicking Victoria’s hair color, the Josh Wood Hair Gloss offers a range of six shades including pink, copper, and caramel. Enriched with shea butter and perilla oil, this product nourishes the hair, prevents fading, and provides deep conditioning, enhancing shine and highlighting the natural tones of the hair.
Other brands like Wella also offer similar color-boosting treatments, such as the Wella Professionals Care Color Fresh Semi-Permanent Colour Mask, currently on sale. Additionally, the Glaze Super Color Conditioning Gloss Chocolate Gleam is available for purchase.
After rinsing out “The Chocolate Gloss,” applying “The Miracle Glossing Water” is the next step. This treatment adds instant shine, boosts hair color vibrancy, and hydrates the hair deeply. It is silicone-free, lightweight, and contains quinoa proteins that soften the hair, enhance strength, and include a UV filter for color protection.
Once the treatment process is complete, styling the hair as usual will reveal the new Victoria Beckham-inspired look. This DIY method offers a cost-effective alternative to salon visits, ensuring a glamorous hair transformation at home.
