“Liam Lawson Narrowly Avoids Collision with Marshals in Mexico GP”

-

New video footage has surfaced revealing the dangerous proximity Liam Lawson had to two marshals who abruptly crossed the track during the Mexico City Grand Prix. The Red Bull Racing driver narrowly avoided a collision on the third lap of the race weekend.

Officials stationed at turn one were instructed to wait for all cars to pass before addressing debris on the track. Unfortunately, they were unaware that Lawson had made a pit stop to replace his front wing after sustaining damage on the first lap.

In a radio communication, the 23-year-old expressed shock, exclaiming his disbelief at the situation and acknowledging the potential catastrophe that was narrowly averted.

The footage captured the risky situation the marshals found themselves in, highlighting Lawson’s quick reactions as crucial. Even after the race concluded, the driver remained astonished by the incident.

Reflecting on the incident, Lawson criticized the unsafe actions of the marshals, emphasizing the need for better communication and protocols to prevent such occurrences in the future.

The FIA issued a statement addressing the incident, stating that an investigation is ongoing to determine the sequence of events that led to the dangerous situation.

On a different note, Sky has enhanced its Ultimate TV and Sky Sports package by including various streaming services and an extensive channel lineup, offering comprehensive coverage of Formula 1 and other sports events throughout the season.
