Amazon is rolling out a new and improved Fire TV experience this month, promising a cleaner, faster, and more organized interface for users. The update introduces new categories for easier navigation of movies, TV shows, news, live content, and sports from various services. Users can now pin favorite apps to the home screen and access a user-friendly menu system. Additionally, a performance boost of up to 30% is included in the free system update.
For football fans, a dedicated football hub will help Fire TV users stay updated on upcoming matches and access live games through local providers. The enhanced experience is currently available for Fire TV Stick HD (newest model) and Amazon Ember Artline devices, with other models like the Fire TV Stick 4K Max set to receive the update soon.
Amazon assures users that the update will be automatically delivered to compatible devices over the next few weeks. If users do not see the update yet, they can try restarting their device to prompt the update installation. Simply navigate to Settings > My Fire TV > Restart, wait for the device to restart, and check for the new interface. If the update is still not visible after the restart, Amazon advises users to wait as it will be pushed to their devices in due course without any additional action required.
