Dominic Williams, aged 33, engaged in controlling behavior by monitoring his ex-girlfriend with a tracker and sabotaging clothing he disapproved of, as detailed in Cardiff Magistrates’ Court.
Despite the relationship ending approximately a year ago, Williams adamantly refused to acknowledge the breakup and persistently sent messages suggesting he was monitoring her activities. Eventually, he changed his plea to guilty on the day of the trial. Consequently, he received a suspended 12-month prison sentence, a requirement for 20 days of rehabilitation activities, and 80 hours of unpaid work.
