Kim Kardashian has responded to critics who have been criticizing her new legal drama series, All’s Fair, on Hulu. The 45-year-old reality TV star and entrepreneur took to Instagram to share and poke fun at some of the harshest reviews the show received after its recent premiere.
The show, created by Ryan Murphy, features a star-studded cast including Glenn Close, Niecy Nash-Betts, Sarah Paulson, Naomi Watts, and Teyana Taylor. It follows a group of women who leave a male-dominated law firm to start their own practice.
Kim started her social media post with a photo of herself wearing a purple fur-trimmed crop top, followed by a picture with Ryan. She then shared a tweet showing the show’s Rotten Tomatoes rating at 0% along with a fan’s response saying, “Immediately pressed play.”
In subsequent posts, Kim shared images of herself laughing with Ryan and other cast members, and a tweet praising the show’s “worst acting” and “most predictable storylines,” expressing her obsession with wanting more seasons of All’s Fair.
She also showcased reviews from The Hollywood Reporter and the BBC, as well as a photo of comedian Amy Schumer recreating a memorable moment from a past event. One tweet Kim shared questioned if a show needed to be good, concluding that the performances by legendary actresses were surprisingly entertaining.
The post ended with Kim highlighting more positive reviews and encouraging fans to watch the show on Hulu and Disney+.
Glenn Close, another cast member, also joined in the fun by sharing a sketch of the cast with a humorous reference to her past film role. Director and executive producer Anthony Hemingway defended the show, emphasizing that not every viewer will be pleased but suggesting that the show’s purpose is to resonate with its audience.
Sarah Paulson and Glenn Close shared their positive experiences working on the show in interviews. New episodes of All’s Fair are released every Tuesday on Hulu until December 23.
