She was best known for portraying Hilda Gunnerson in the ABC soap opera Dynasty and later reprised her role in Dynasty: The Reunion in 1991.
In addition to her work on Dynasty, Betty also starred in The Paper Chase as Mrs. Nottingham and had roles in films like The Wild and the Innocent and The China Syndrome. She notably played Natalie Wood’s older sister in the 1965 drama Inside Daisy Cooper.
