Chris Brown reportedly accumulated a substantial alcohol tab while out with his group in London last month. The rapper, who unexpectedly appeared at a court hearing on October 24 prior to his trial for an alleged nightclub incident, was seen enjoying a night at the Selene club in the city on October 10. The nightclub later shared the bill on social media, totaling an impressive £160,240.50.
The disclosed bill featured nine bottles of Dom Perignon priced at £750 each, along with nine bottles of Belvedere at £500 each. Additionally, the group of 15 individuals indulged in a £5,000 Hennessy Paradis, five £2,900 Louis Roederer Cristal Magnums, and three Clase Azul Reposados at £1,200 each.
Apart from the alcoholic drinks, the bill revealed the purchase of two cases of Red Bull and three pizzas. Although the club didn’t specify the individual responsible for the significant bill, some attendees, including models and other rappers, mentioned that Chris Brown covered the expenses.
A source informed The Sun that Chris Brown has a lavish lifestyle and doesn’t hesitate to spend on top-tier items. During his recent court appearance on October 28, a judge permitted the singer to return to the United States while awaiting trial for an alleged bottle incident at a London nightclub in 2023.
Judge Tony Baumgartner modified the American musician’s bail terms at Southwark Crown Court in London. The prosecuting lawyer, Heidi Stonecliffe KC, highlighted that the existing bail conditions for Brown are stringent and numerous. The £5 million security fee that Brown was previously required to pay as a financial guarantee to ensure his court appearance remains in effect and may be forfeited if he violates the bail terms.
Chris Brown has pleaded not guilty to charges of assault causing actual bodily harm at the Tape venue in Mayfair on February 19, 2023. He has denied possessing an offensive weapon in a public area and attempting to cause serious bodily harm. His co-defendant, Omololu Akinlolu, also denied the assault charges. Brown’s previous bail conditions allowed him to continue his planned international tour.
Under the updated conditions, both defendants were granted permission to go back to the US by Judge Baumgartner, with the requirement to return to the UK when summoned. Failure to comply with court appearances could jeopardize the security fee. The next court appearance for the defendants is scheduled for January 28, and the trial is set to commence on October 26, 2026.
The Mirror has reached out to Chris Brown’s representatives for a statement.
