A British social media influencer who relocated to Ibiza is facing distress as heavy rainfall has led to flooding in her beautiful property. Videos captured on the Spanish island depict severe flooding, with streets turning into rapid streams and water seeping through the roof of Ibiza Airport.

Reports from local media indicated a significant influx of rain inside the airport, resulting in the security check area being submerged under continuous and intense leaks. The whole island is currently under a red warning for heavy rainfall until 4 pm local time.

Stella Tzortzi, residing on a farm in Ibiza, shared updates on the impact of the rain, both on the streets and within her residence. Addressing her 353,000 TikTok followers, she revealed the extent of the flooding in her house and the surrounding area, showcasing bins floating in the inundated streets.

The 26-year-old influencer, originally from London, expressed concern for her pet pig, Sheila, who was confined in her pen as the water level rose rapidly. Despite the worrying situation, she reassured her followers with a positive note, mentioning that help was on the way.

On the Balearic Islands, emergency services responded to 61 incidents, primarily concentrated on Ibiza. Numerous roads were closed, and a school in San Antonio was evacuated as a precautionary measure. Basements, garages, and access routes to the main airport were severely affected by flooding.

Firefighters are actively rescuing individuals stranded in vehicles and homes, as confirmed by the local authorities in Ibiza. Road closures are in place, with the E-10 and routes from Sant Antoni to Santa Eulària being affected. Residents are advised to contact emergency services at 112 and exercise extreme caution, avoiding unnecessary travel and heeding official warnings.

In Sueca, footage displayed the town submerged under stagnant water post the rainfall. Additionally, a video from Murcia in the southeast captured a pedestrian being swept away by a forceful current of muddy floodwater.
