Carey Price is set to be honored at the Bell Centre, the arena where he has played throughout his illustrious NHL career. The Montreal Canadiens revealed that Price will make a special appearance on November 10 to celebrate his upcoming induction into the Hall of Fame, which is scheduled for the previous day.
As the 62nd member of the organization to receive this prestigious recognition, Price will join the esteemed Ring of Honour at the Bell Centre, a tribute reserved for former players who have achieved legendary status in hockey.
Having dedicated his entire 15-year professional career to the Canadiens, Price has solidified his place in the team’s history books. With 712 games under his belt, he has maintained an impressive 2.51 goals-against average and a remarkable .917 save percentage. Notably, Price holds the franchise records for most games played and victories by a goaltender.
The upcoming tribute will take place during a game against the Minnesota Wild, where Price will be celebrated for his remarkable contributions to the team. Additionally, Price’s career highlights include being a seven-time all-star and being selected as the fifth overall pick in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
The Canadiens are gearing up for their pre-season opener on September 19, with the regular season kicking off on September 29 against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
