In a separate incident, two worshippers, Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66, tragically lost their lives in a terrorist attack on the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue. The assailant, Jihad Al-Shamie, was shot dead by armed police, with one victim succumbing to gunshot wounds.
Opposition leader Keir Starmer condemned the attack as a despicable act of terrorism targeting the Jewish community. He emphasized the importance of unity and support across all faiths in standing against such violence.
