“Disruptive Passenger Forces Emergency Landing”

-

A passenger was removed from a flight bound for Corfu after causing a disruption, leading to an unscheduled landing in Milan. Reports suggest the passenger exhibited disruptive behavior shortly after takeoff from Manchester to Corfu, prompting a stewardess to intervene. Upon landing in Milan, local police officers were seen escorting the unruly passenger off the plane.

Witnesses claim a woman holding a bottle of vodka was also escorted off the flight following the disruptive passenger, though this was not captured on video. According to a passenger on board, the disruption occurred midway through the flight, resulting in the captain announcing an emergency landing due to disorderly conduct.

The passenger in question was described as unstable in his seat, requiring the stewardess to assist in keeping him restrained. Police officers in Milan struggled to remove the passenger from his seat, eventually managing to escort him off the plane. The situation caused a delay on the tarmac before the flight resumed its journey to Corfu.

An easyJet spokesperson confirmed the incident, stating that the flight had diverted to Milan due to the disruptive behavior of a passenger but continued to its final destination after police intervention. The airline emphasized its commitment to passenger safety and reiterated a zero-tolerance policy towards disruptive behavior onboard.
