An individual pretending to be a police officer was apprehended on Friday evening at the Arizona stadium where a memorial service for conservative commentator Charlie Kirk is planned for Sunday, as per authorities.
The pro-Trump activist met a tragic end last Wednesday when he was fatally shot while speaking at an event at Utah Valley University. He was hit by a single gunshot to the neck while sitting under a small sun shelter.
A 22-year-old man named Tyler Robinson has been accused of the murder of Charlie Kirk.
The public memorial for Charlie Kirk is slated for Sunday, September 21. The stadium can hold up to 63,000 individuals, with the capacity expandable to over 73,000 for larger gatherings. The adjacent Desert Diamond Arena will be utilized for overflow and can accommodate an additional 19,000 people.

Joshua Runkles, aged 42, is facing charges for impersonating a law enforcement officer and carrying a weapon into a restricted area, according to court records. He was found with a loaded pistol, a revolver, and multiple knives.
Legal documents indicate that Runkles first approached a security guard, asserting affiliation with a Turning Point USA security team. He was subsequently detained by Secret Service personnel inside the venue.
Runkles cooperated fully and was released on £400 bail with pre-trial monitoring, as confirmed by authorities.
