Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is set to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S, marking a new chapter for the beloved RPG originally released on the PSOne. The game will be available on January 22, approximately six years after its debut on PS4 and five years since its release on PS5 and PC.

This upcoming release will include the main game along with the Episode Intermission DLC featuring Yuffie. It will also introduce several quality of life enhancements, some of which will be accessible to players on PS5 and PC through a free update.

For players who own the PS5 or PC versions but have yet to dive into the game, now presents an opportune moment to revisit the captivating world of Midgar.

Square Enix has announced that the PS5 and PC editions of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will receive a free update on January 22. This update will introduce new features, such as the Streamlined mode designed to make the game more accessible to newcomers and less experienced players.

The Streamlined mode offers players increased attack capabilities, as well as unlimited health and magic, to enhance the gaming experience. An official tweet stated, “To celebrate the launch of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Nintendo Switch 2 & Xbox, a patch for the PS5 and PC versions will release next Thursday, featuring Streamlined Progression, allowing players to maintain full HP and MP and deal 9,999 damage with every hit!”
