A senior citizen who went missing in the Costa del Sol before his scheduled flight back to Manchester has been located, as confirmed by his daughter in an emotional update.
Clifford Wildgoose, a former real estate mogul, was vacationing with a friend in southern Spain and was supposed to return to Manchester on Sunday. Concern arose when he disappeared after being last seen at Patrick’s 19th Hole Bar in Puerto Banus near Marbella.
Despite only making a short trip to Spain for the weekend, Clifford failed to show up at Malaga Airport for his flight home, causing distress for his daughter, Melanie Hall. She expressed her worry as Clifford’s friends had not been in contact with him and he missed his flight.
In a recent update on Facebook, Melanie shared the relief of finding Clifford in the Puerto Banus area following a public appeal. She thanked the public for their support, revealing that a passerby recognized him from social media posts, leading to his discovery. Clifford was reported to be safe with the authorities but in need of medical attention.
Acknowledging the role of social media in the search, Melanie expressed her gratitude, emphasizing the impact of public assistance in locating her father.
