Prince William extended his best wishes to conservationist Robert Irwin before his appearance on “Dancing With The Stars” last night. The Prince of Wales, aged 43, expressed confidence in Robert’s chances of winning the competition alongside his dance partner Witney Carson. This encouragement spurred Robert, the son of the late Steve Irwin, as they achieved the top score of the night and advanced to the semi-finals.
Ahead of their performance, Robert, 21, dedicated their dance to his sister Bindi and Prince William. The Prince, in a video message following the Earthshot Prize Awards, commended Robert’s environmental efforts and wished him luck on the show.
During the broadcast, a video message from Prince William was played, followed by Robert and Witney’s live performance which earned them the first perfect score of the season. Despite being expected to be in Brazil with Prince William, Robert made a sacrifice to participate in the program, while William applauded their joint efforts in protecting the planet.
The emotional exchange between Prince William and Robert was captured on camera, with William expressing his admiration for Robert’s work. Judges on the show, including Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba, praised Robert’s performance and storytelling abilities.
Robert, originally from Australia, is known for hosting “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here” in Australia and has a background in reality TV and wildlife photography. His journey in conservation and entertainment began at a young age following the tragic death of his father, Steve Irwin.
