Sky TV customers will notice a major change in the television planner starting April 30 as the telecoms and TV company has announced a revamp of its Cinema channel lineup. The merger of Sky Cinema Animation, previously on channel 312, into Sky Cinema Family aims to streamline access to family-friendly films on channel 304. This change does not result in any content removal but rather consolidates the offerings, ensuring viewers can still enjoy favorites like Shrek, The Secret Life of Pets, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse all in one place.
While there will be one less channel, Sky assures customers that all content previously available on Sky Cinema Animation will now be accessible through Sky Cinema Family. Additionally, for those who enjoyed films on Sky Cinema Animation, the channel will make a temporary return during school holidays from July 24 to August 30, October 23 to November 1, and December 1 to January 5, providing entertainment for kids when they are not in school.
