Max Verstappen’s fortune has seen a significant boost of nearly £44 million over the past year, bringing his total net worth to just under £230 million. The Red Bull Racing driver has made remarkable progress on the Quote 500 list, a compilation of the wealthiest individuals in the Netherlands, moving up to the 264th position from 322nd last year.
Despite celebrating his 28th birthday in late September, Verstappen remains the youngest individual on the list, a title he has held since his debut in 2022. Initially entering the list at 500th place with a net worth slightly over £105 million, Verstappen’s ascent has been swift, reaching the 428th spot the following year and jumping up 106 places in the most recent ranking.
The threshold for entry on this year’s list stands at just under £123 million, with notable figures like Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk not meeting the criteria. Forbes has ranked Verstappen as the 25th highest-paid athlete globally this year, earning just under £59 million, primarily from his salary and winnings, with £4.5 million stemming from endorsements.
Comparatively, Lewis Hamilton holds the 22nd spot on the list with earnings slightly above £60 million. While his salary and winnings are lower at just over £45 million, endorsements totaling £15 million propel him ahead of Verstappen.
Earlier in the year, reports surfaced that Aston Martin had proposed a staggering £750 million deal to Verstappen to cover the remainder of his career. Verstappen’s response at the time was that it was “a lot of money,” expressing surprise at the offer. He has since confirmed his commitment to Red Bull for the upcoming season, having signed a contract extension until 2028, reportedly worth around £40 million per season.
Sky has recently reduced the price of its Essential TV and Sky Sports bundle for the 2025/26 season, offering savings of £192 and showcasing over 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL, and more. Additionally, Sky has announced plans to broadcast at least 215 live Premier League games next season, an increase of up to 100 matches.
