“Agassi and Graf Celebrate 24th Anniversary with Nostalgic Tribute”

Tennis legend Andre Agassi recently marked his 24th wedding anniversary with fellow tennis great Steffi Graf on social media. Agassi, 55, shared a nostalgic photo of the couple holding their Wimbledon trophies from 1992, almost a decade before they exchanged vows.

In the throwback picture, Agassi sported his iconic long blonde hair, a stark contrast to his current shaved-head look. Dressed in a classy tuxedo and sporting a dangling earring, he exuded his signature style. On the other hand, Graf, now 56, looked elegant in a regal ball gown adorned with pearls.

Alongside the vintage photo, Agassi posted a recent picture of the couple beaming at the camera, expressing his love for Graf. The caption read, “24 years with this wonderful woman, Happy Anniversary Steffi, you are my unicorn!”

Despite their shared Wimbledon success in 1992, Agassi was briefly married to actress Brooke Shields from 1997 to 1999, while Graf dated racing driver Michael Bartels during that time. Their romantic relationship only blossomed after Agassi’s split from Shields in 1999, with Agassi confessing his long-standing admiration for Graf.

In his 2009 memoir, “Open,” Agassi revealed, “I’ve had a crush on Steffi since I first saw her doing an interview on French TV. I was thunderstruck, dazzled by her understated grace, her effortless beauty.” Agassi also shared his excitement about the opportunity to dance with Graf at the famous Wimbledon Ball.

Known for their privacy, Agassi and Graf had a private wedding ceremony in October 2001 at their Las Vegas home, attended only by the couple and their mothers. They later welcomed their children, Jaden Gil and Jaz Elle, choosing to lead a quiet family life away from the tennis spotlight.

Agassi, a tennis legend, boasts a remarkable career with 60 ATP Tour singles titles and eight Grand Slam victories, including Wimbledon, French Open, and US Open titles. He also clinched an Olympic gold in singles at the 1996 Atlanta Games before retiring in 2006.

Graf, a German tennis icon, is celebrated as one of the greatest female players in history, with 22 major women’s singles titles, including multiple wins at Wimbledon, French Open, Australian Open, and US Open. She retired from professional tennis at the age of 30 in 1999, leaving a lasting legacy in the sport.
