“Toronto Raptors Kick Off NBA Season at Home on October 21”

-

The Toronto Raptors are set to kick off the upcoming NBA season at home for the 14th time in the last 15 years. The NBA unveiled the complete 2026-27 schedule, revealing that the Raptors will start their campaign on October 21 against the Chicago Bulls at Scotiabank Arena. Following this, Toronto will hit the road for their first away game just two days later in Washington.

Among the notable matchups at home, fans can anticipate consecutive games against the reigning champions, the New York Knicks, on November 15 and 17, as well as a showdown against Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs on December 10 and a faceoff with Canadian standout Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Oklahoma City Thunder on March 10.

January will be the busiest month for the Raptors, with a packed schedule of 17 games, including a six-game stretch at home. Additionally, the team is slated to play 15 back-to-back games this season, with seven of them requiring no travel. The schedule for 80 out of Toronto’s 82 games has been confirmed, with the remaining two to be arranged post the group stage of the in-season NBA Cup tournament.

Disappointingly, Toronto has once again been excluded from the prime-time Christmas Day lineup. The Raptors last played on December 25 in 2019 when they were the defending NBA champions.
