A smartwatch priced significantly lower than Apple’s best-seller and a popular supermarket ketchup have been recognized as top products of 2025.
After extensive testing of over 2,000 items, consumer group Which? has unveiled its list of the best 50 products that excelled in various aspects. Some were deemed the best in their category, while others were noted for their innovation and exceptional value.
Leading the lineup is the cost-effective Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch, available for under £63 in select locations, which is approximately a quarter of the price of Apple’s comparable model but offers similar quality. Which? praised the fitness-tracking features and GPS capabilities of the device, awarding it five stars for user-friendliness and display quality. Describing it as a “game-changer,” Which? emphasized the Bip 6’s representation of high quality at an affordable cost, urging other brands to take note.
Ranked third is Asda’s Classic Tomato Ketchup, lauded for its rich tomato flavor with a balanced sweetness that doesn’t come off as artificial. Despite scoring on par with the popular Heinz ketchup in taste tests, Asda’s version is about 70% cheaper per 100g.
Just ahead of Asda’s £1.39 ketchup, the second spot belongs to Skoda’s Elroq electric car, the most expensive product in the top 50, priced at over £30,000. Which? described the SUV as cost-effective to operate and purchase compared to its competitors, highlighting its exceptional quality.
Another standout product is Aldi’s Magnum Premium Washing Up Liquid, securing the tenth spot in the annual rankings. Priced at 95p for a 500ml bottle, Aldi’s offering outperformed the popular Fairy Original, receiving an overall score of 73% versus 72%.
The remaining top 50 products span a wide range, from household appliances to cutting-edge technology, bedding, baby gear, and power tools.
Harry Rose, the editor of Which? Magazine, emphasized that the top products of 2025 enhance home life by combining quality, convenience, and enjoyment. The selection process involved rigorous evaluation of real-world performance, reliability, energy efficiency, and value for money across various product categories, resulting in a curated list of standout items.
