“Body Found in Search for Missing British Tourist in Spain”

-

A deceased individual has been discovered during the search for a British tourist who went missing from his hotel in Spain over the weekend. The police have confirmed the finding of the body in woods near the Costa Brava resort of Lloret de Mar. The man’s identity is yet to be officially confirmed, but there are strong suspicions that it could be the missing holidaymaker, Josh Rogers.

Josh, originally from Bloxwich near Walsall in the West Midlands, had been sharing updates about his trip to Lloret on social media. His last known post was a photo of a drink at Birmingham Airport before departing for Spain. Concerns arose after he failed to make contact for several days.

Family and friends initiated a search effort upon realizing Josh was missing, prompting appeals for information on social media platforms. The authorities are awaiting test results to conclusively identify the deceased individual found in the vicinity where Josh was last seen. No signs of foul play have been reported in connection with the discovery.

Sadly, this incident follows the recent discovery of another missing British man in Spain. The body of Andrew Wade, missing since August on the Costa del Sol, was located by authorities. Additionally, Clifford Wildgoose, who disappeared from a bar near Marbella, has been found and returned to the UK after assistance from an observant tourist.
