Katie Price caused a delay in the start of a theatre show with her friend Kerry Katona by arriving more than two hours late. The duo has been on a national tour, promising fans an intimate look into their lives. However, the tour has faced challenges including Katie being asked to leave a hotel and Kerry having to handle rowdy fans in New Brighton.
During a performance in Whitley Bay, the show start time had to be postponed, leading Kerry to take the stage without Katie. Technical issues were cited as the reason for the delay, with the show eventually commencing at 8 pm instead of the scheduled 7:30 pm.
Katie eventually appeared on a video call from her car, informing the audience of her delayed arrival time of 9:18 pm, although she ended up being even later. Upon her arrival, Katie performed her song “I Got U” and explained her lateness was due to caring for her son, Harvey. Some attendees noted technical difficulties during the show, with sound quality being a concern.
The show concluded around 10:20 pm, followed by a Meet and Greet session for fans. Katie had previously shared an incident of being asked to leave a hotel and updated fans on her day via Snapchat. Another incident during the tour involved Katie apologizing to the audience after disruptive behavior from some attendees at a New Brighton show.
