After Fritz’s victory over Rinderknech at Wimbledon, he shared a contentious exchange with him at the net, with Fritz expressing his discontent over Rinderknech’s pre-match behavior. This led to Cash’s scathing remarks about Fritz’s conduct, labeling it as inappropriate and questioning his relationships within the tennis community.
Despite Fritz’s win over Rinderknech, his journey at Wimbledon was cut short by Lorenzo Musetti in the quarter-finals. Fritz is yet to win a Grand Slam, with his closest attempt ending in a loss to Jannik Sinner at the US Open last year.
Fritz is now set to compete against Alcaraz in the semi-finals of the Six Kings Slam in Riyadh, aiming to avenge his recent defeat to Alcaraz at the Japan Open. Alcaraz, however, is dealing with an ankle injury sustained in Japan, impacting his performance on the court but remains determined to excel in the tournament.
