“Sonic Racing Crossworlds Adds Pac-Man Pack DLC”

-

Sonic Racing Crossworlds is set to receive new downloadable content this week, featuring a beloved character from Bandai Namco.

Considered by many as the top racing game of last year, surpassing even Mario Kart World, Sonic Racing Crossworlds continues to expand with fresh tracks and characters courtesy of Sonic Team’s ongoing post-launch updates.

Following the earlier releases of the Minecraft Pack and SpongeBob SquarePants Pack, fans are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the Pac-Man Pack on various platforms including PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and PC.

The Pac-Man Pack is scheduled for release on January 7 for consoles and PC, accompanied by the launch of the Pac-Man Festival – an in-game event open to all players, regardless of owning the pack.

SEGA’s announcement on X states that the Pac-Man Festival will commence on Thursday, January 8 at 7:00 PM (ET) and conclude on Sunday, January 11 at 6:59 PM (ET). For UK fans, this translates to midnight GMT on January 9 until 11.59 GMT on January 11.

The latest expansion for Sonic Racing Crossworlds introduces Pac-Man and Team Ghost as playable characters, along with the Pac-Man Mobile vehicle, six emotes per character, and extra sound effects. Noteworthy is the unveiling of the Pac-Village and Maze track.

Accessing the Pac-Man Pack for Sonic Racing Crossworlds requires additional spending, with options including purchasing the season pass for £24.99 if you already own the base game. The Digital Deluxe Edition, priced at £79.99, includes the base game, season pass, and Sonic Prime Character Pack, providing another way to obtain the DLC content.

Although not available for pre-order, the Pac-Man Pack will also be offered as a standalone purchase for £4.99.
