In recent weeks, ARC Raiders has received acclaim from gamers, but not everyone is fully on board with the game. Well-known Twitch streamer Nadeshot, also known as Matthew Haag, the founder of 100 Thieves, has criticized the prevalence of cheating in the action-packed shooter, going as far as to compare it to the worst times of Call of Duty.
Despite expressing his love for the game and ranking it among his top 10 favorites, Nadeshot vented his frustrations about the rampant cheating he has encountered while playing ARC Raiders. He highlighted facing opponents with suspiciously impeccable skills, leading to a less enjoyable and more aggravating gaming experience.
Nadeshot didn’t shy away from offering suggestions to Embark Studios, the creators of ARC Raiders, urging them to take legal action against cheat providers and implement robust anti-cheating measures to maintain a fair gameplay environment.
Acknowledging that not all players may encounter the same issues, Nadeshot shared his personal ordeal of facing relentless cheating during his gaming sessions, ultimately expressing his hope for a better future where game developers can effectively combat cheating in real-time.
As of now, Embark Studios has not publicly responded to Nadeshot’s critiques, though the topic of cheating has been gaining traction within the ARC Raiders community as the game attracts a growing number of players.
