“007 First Light PC Specifications Updated”

-

Developer IO Interactive has reconfirmed the PC specifications for the highly anticipated game 007 First Light, bringing relief to fans eagerly awaiting its release. This marks the second time the development team has unveiled the PC requirements, acknowledging errors in the previous announcement.

The updated specifications reveal a notable reduction in recommended RAM from 32GB to a more reasonable 16GB. Additionally, the recommended Video RAM (VRAM) has been decreased from 12GB to 8GB, with the minimum Video RAM requirements now set at 6GB, down from the previous 8GB.

IO Interactive attributed the initial inaccuracies to internal miscommunication, stating that an older version of the specs was mistakenly shared. Following a thorough review and additional testing, the recommended RAM has been corrected, VRAM values updated, and the minimum CPU requirements fixed.

In response to community feedback, IO Interactive expressed apologies for the confusion caused by the errors and thanked fans for their vigilance. The updated specifications are now available on the store pages, with further performance targets expected to be disclosed closer to the game’s launch.

Scheduled for release on May 27 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, 007 First Light offers a captivating narrative where a young James Bond embarks on a thrilling global adventure. Drawing inspiration from previous IO games like Hitman, the game promises action-packed sequences reminiscent of the beloved Uncharted series.
